Flexible Aluminum/Zinc Water Heater Anode Rod
The 42 in. Eastman Flexible Aluminum/Zinc Anode Rod is designed to prolong the life of your water heater tank by attracting corrosion to itself through electrolysis, thereby protecting the steel walls of the tank. Constructed with a carbon steel cable and 4 sections of aluminum/zinc links, this anode rod features a durable stainless steel 3/4 in. x 3 in. and ¾ in. x 5 in. NPT nipple connection. Easy to install, simply attach it to the top of the tank to keep it steady. It is recommended to inspect the anode rod every 2 years and replace it as needed for optimal performance.
