Flexible Magnesium Anode Rod
The 42 in. Eastman Flexible Anode Rod is designed to prolong the life of your water heater tank by attracting corrosion to itself through electrolysis, thereby safeguarding the steel walls of the tank. Constructed with a carbon steel cable and 4 sections of links made from either aluminum with zinc alloy or magnesium, this anode rod features durable stainless steel 3/4 in. x 3 in. and 3/4 in. x 5 in. NPT nipple connection. Easy to install, simply attach it to the top of the tank to keep it steady. It is recommended to inspect the anode rod periodically and replace it every 4 to 5 years for optimal performance. Additionally, these anode rods are Lead-Free compliant, ensuring safe drinking water.
